Dr. Ryan Hahnlen, the SVC Industrial Advisory Board Chair, announced two recipients for the March 2023 Outstanding Student Presentation Award. The awards were given to Anthony Dolph for his presentation on SVC Project #57C, titled "Magnetically-active composites for vehicle applications,” mentored by Dr. Umesh Gandhi of Toyota Research Institute, and to Vivek Srinivas for his presentation on SVC Project #63, titled "Smart restraint systems,” mentored by a collaborative team, Steve Combs of Autoliv along with Dr. Ryan Hahnlen, Skye Malcolm, and Craig Markusic of Honda Development and Manufacturing of America. Both Anthony and Vivek are advised under Prof. Marcelo Dapino.
